Finally some 25mans! I mean no one really cares about the 10man versions. Right? If I soloed heroic 10man BoT with my lvl20 worgen everyone would be like "Hunh? So?" Anyways, after we finally got enough peeps to 25man the 10man crowd had to switch to the RealMen raids. A few hours later a BIG GIANT HE... worm was dead. Singing with him in the choir was a huge mechanical monstrosity just doing the bassline with a catchy "om nom nom nom" tune.

The lead vocals were provided by Halfus Wyrmbreaker who we effectively broke after the dps simultaniously mashed their heads on the keyboard with perfect syncronicity. At this point the tanks and healers woke up and ninjaed all the lewts. Good times!!

Indeed, it was a very interesting hour around 01:00 - 02:00 (finnish time) as probably hundreds of thousands of players tried to login at the same time. Some got in, some didn't and proceeded to kill small animals (no real animals were hurt during the login process). Good thing however that we were inside since it was like 20 degrees celsius below zero outside. The utter madness in the suddenly crowd filled world lasted for a few days and finally settled down as people started dinging to the new max level.
The fastest bugger in the race to 85 was Protonai who got the honors for being the first guy complaining on the guild chat why nobody wanted to do heroics yet. In addition we managed to grab two realm firsts. Cerebear managed to swipe the Realm First Fishing and Ruiti grabbed the Realm First Inscription. Congrats to both!
Now it's time to gear up and run some heroics. Soon we'll be tackling the 25man content with full gusto and epic pwnage!
The world is changing and Azeroth has broken. So it was quite logical for us to go and lay Arthas to rest for the last time. Heroically. We were 15 guys short though so only 10 FBF crazies went /rude on the Lich Kings ass. After about two hours of defile dodging and shield spamming, Arthas was downed for the last time. 10 FBF raiders got themselves a nifty long title and a very nice ending to the expansion.
We were prepared. The story of Arthas has been Brute Forced and we head back to Azeroth picking up the pieces of the Cataclysm.
It's been fun! Time to have some more fun :-)
Lich King 10 HC
Use pointy sticks and sharp rocks. Add a small complement of witty insults and juicy gossip to add flavor. Ferment with a nice portion of whoop-ass sauce and cook it inside the RipItToPieces (tm) oven for a few attempts. Garnish with /point and /laugh . In the end... serve chilled like Revenge.
The wonderfully - in the bizzarro world - voiced heroic Sindragosa has been put to rest. I hope I never hear her horrid voice talent again... until the next reset.

Professor Putricide lies vanquished once more. This time with even more oozes and even more possibilities! Yay! It took some doing, but eventually the bulk of the players figured out, that there were other abilities in additions to the auto-attack button and voÃla - one dead oozemaster!
Heroic or not - Putricides oozes (and nice shiny trinkets) are now ours!!

Naturally after the Lich King was downed, we took a break from Icecrown. After a great real life meeting and a feisty drunken stupor, we were at least 30% more motivated to kill things!
So we clicked the new HC button and headed back to Icecrown.
After some furious button mashing, the first wing in Icecrown lay vanquished in heroic mode. Are we famous now?

The dragons never learn. First Sapphiron, then Sartharion with his cronies and finally Sindragosa got their ass handed to them by the FBF. Why do you make me do this? WHY?! WHY WON'T YOU LET ME LIVE?!?!
...... moving on.
After a nice raiding break during the summer we noticed a whole new raid boss sitting pretty in the Ruby Sanctum. Not too much of a challenge after bonking our heads to the wall in Icecrown Citadel so he fell pretty easily a few attempts later. But all those shiny 271s look so nice and 'purty...'

To continue the tradition of IRL raiding, the members of Finnish Brute Force gathered at the familiar stomping grounds of Asikkala once again in August of 2010. 30 people joined in on the fun and just like last year, many bosses (and potions) were downed, even more Well Fed buffs were administered and everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest.
FBF received a handful of new veteran players and also the official "WoW knowitall" was crowned.
All hail Cabbus. You truly have no life.

After all the servants of the Lich King were vanquished, the frozen Throne opened up and the heroes of the Finnish Brute Force confronted the leader of the scourge.
The fight was long and arduous. The necrotic plague, remorseless winter, infest and especially defile claimed their victims many many times. But in the end we stood fast. Arthas has made his last stand and failed. Now it's time to gobble up all the juicy loots the little pecker spewed from his guts. Too bad Tirion accidentally the whole Frostmourne, but we'll make do with the other shiny trinkets we found!
